Why Choose Soy?

Longer burn life: On average one ounce of soy burns clean for about 7-8 hours.

Sustainability: Unlike paraffin, which is derived from oil, soy is a renewable resource made from the oil of soybeans. The soy used today was likely in the ground less than one year ago and that same field could be growing more soy for the future.

Better for your health: Soy burns cleaner and produces as much as 90 percent less soot than paraffin, reducing the amount of indoor air pollution produced.

Soy won't ruin your walls: The emissions from paraffin candles build up on walls, staining the paint in your home. They also build up in upholstery fabrics and in carpets, affecting the air quality in your home.

Easy to clean: Soy is biodegradable so if it spills on your tablecloth or clothing just clean with soap and water.

Burning Tips

  • Our beautiful candle covers are decorative only. PLEASE don’t burn your candle with the lid on.
  • Please keep burning candles out of reach of small children and wagging tails!
  • When burning for the first time, please trim the wick to 1/4 inch and burn for at least 4 - 5 hours to achieve the best overall melting effect.
  • Follow the special instructions that came on the bottom of your candle.
  • Allow candle to cool and harden before relighting.
  • When trimming your wick, only trim the “carbon ball” off the end. Soy wax is a thick substance and requires the extra heat for a complete burn.
  • Discontinue burning container candles when there is 1/4 inch of wax left in the bottom.
  • Do not place soy candles in the refrigerator or in direct sunlight, as extreme temperature changes will cause discoloring in candles.
  • Upon cooling, your soy candle may appear "bumpy" on the top. This is completely normal and a natural characteristic of all soy wax.
  • Enjoy your candles!
